Proud Mommy Moments: On the Move!

It’s not a post about football! It’s a Thursday miracle! I’m sure everyone is very relieved. :)

Today I am linking up with Emmy Mom for Proud Mommy Moments! I wanted to do this last week when B started standing on her own, but I had the flu and my brain hurt too much to form anything resembling a coherent thought. Luckily my child is almost constantly doing awesome new things.

Plus this week is better anyway because unlike last week, I have visual PROOF of what she did to make me so proud. I took some video last night, but unfortunately have no clue how to embed it here and YouTube hates my guts. So instead I made a little collage from the stills:

onthemove

I promise you she was actually moving and OMG LOOK AT HER GO! She can take about 4 steps on her very own, but with that activity walker there is no human or fur-friend that can stand in her way. Seriously. She just about ran over G like 8 times. You can see him about to take a direct hit in the lower right corner of photos 1 & 2.

Meanwhile, this proud mom is going to sit back and enjoy being able to keep up with her for as long as I can because I have a feeling it’s not going to be long now. I’ll be thwarting her attempts to run away from me in public places before I know it.

How fun! I love watching toddlers master new skills. It’s so fun when they first get mobile…and then reality sets in and you realize that them being so mobile is HARD!! lol

Thanks for linking up with Emmy and me!

  4. I saw the video your husband posted (I think he tagged you I’m not stalking him haha) of her standing and him saying ‘come here’ and I thought ‘oh goodness this girl is about to get on the MOVE!!’. I remember Nate’s first steps, so awesome!

While taller is nicer– really the size doesn’t matter as much. We have one of the plastic traditional ones (but it was free so I went with it) and my 6-year-old is way too big for it now but she still plays with it and love it.
So I say go for the green if you can get it, if not get the pink as that one is super cute and saving money is always a good thing
